Pamela Fraser, Interstate Europe’s Scotland-based business development manager, has been named 2016 Sales Manager of the Year by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
Pamela, who is business development manager for four of Interstate Europe Hotels & Resorts’ Scottish properties, topped an impressive shortlist at the IHG Awards to win the accolade, in recognition of her contribution to the growth of her hotels and the wider Interstate sales team.
Through her work with the Holiday Inn Express hotels at Edinburgh Airport, Dunfermline, Perth and Edinburgh Royal Mile, all owned by Chardon Trading Limited, Pamela has not only driven sales at each, but has acted as a Sales Mentor to new team members, providing support to her hotels at every level.

“Her vast knowledge and experience of both IHG initiatives and Interstate systems and procedures, combined with her friendly personality and her creativity make her a really deserving winner, she’s a real asset to our company and the hotels she works with.
“Pamela was joined on the night by a number of other Interstate team members who had also been nominated, demonstrating the high calibre of our team and the fantastic work that we carry out here at Interstate.”
Billy Monaghan, general manager at one of Pamela’s hotels – the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline, said: “Pamela is a real asset to the hotel. She offers mentoring and support to all new team members, has a fantastic relationship with local clients and works tirelessly to ensure that every opportunity is chased and secured where possible.”
Pamela said: “I’m thrilled to have been named Sales Person of the Year. It’s such a prestigious event and it’s a real honour to have been given this title.”
