Interstate Expands U.K. Footprint with Six New Hotels
ARLINGTON, Va. / LONDON - Dec. 18, 2014 – Interstate Hotels & Resorts – the leading U.S.-based global hotel management company – announces six new hotels recently signed in the U.K. The additions continue to demonstrate Interstate as a top choice for independent management, offering a successful operating strategy that combines economies of size with agility in deploying resources focused on achieving a positive impact on the bottom line.
Boasting an international presence for 20 years, Interstate holds significant hotel operating experience in Europe and is leading an unprecedented expansion in the region. Interstate’s depth of expertise in the United Kingdom crosses all industry segments including full-service, select-service and extended-stay under all notable hotel brands, and now includes the following newly signed hotels:
• 95-room Holiday Inn Express Dundee;
• 179-room Staybridge Suites Birmingham;
• 124-room Ramada Encore Luton Airport;
• 90-room Holiday Inn Express Wigan (opening 2015);
• 124-room Indigo Hotel Brighton (opening 2016); and
• 50-room Ibis Styles Greenwich North (opening 2016).
