The Interstate-managed Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland has scooped four accolades at the Scottish Hotel Awards, Glasgow and Clyde Regional Awards.
The hotel took home the awards for Best 4 Star City Hotel and Informal Dining. There was individual recognition too, as Lisa Ruxton won Sales & Marketing Manager of the Year and the hotel restaurant’s executive chef Gerry Sharkey picked up the award for Executive Chef of the Year.
Nicholas Northam, managing director for the UK at Interstate Europe, said: "It makes us very proud to see the talented and hard-working team at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland be recognised for their successes.
"On behalf of everyone here at Interstate I’d like to say a huge congratulations to the hotel team, their host of award wins is testimony to our organisation’s high levels of service and quality."
The awards, known as the national 'Hotel Oscars', are Scotland's leading hotel awards and the only independently assessed form of recognition for both hotels and individuals.
Nicola Taylor, chief executive of the hotel, said: “We are very proud to have won these prestigious awards, not least because the evaluation process is so demanding. To have achieved four awards is testament to the hard work, commitment and dedication of the whole team at Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland and especially Lisa and Gerry, who managed to secure highly coveted individual awards."
As an award winner, the hotel will now be looking for more success when it is automatically entered into the National Awards which take place on 22 April.
